Adirondack Coast Beach House expands the experience of the magnificent site through the creation of an elevated meditation space with sunrise and lake views. The design creates harmony throughout by reorganizing space in the existing bungalow to maximize its use. The addition includes an ornamental single-run stair with new mudroom, an upper level alcove, and a meditation space with lakeside suspended balcony. Clerestory windows bring light from dawn to dusk into the meditation space; select operable windows allow for natural ventilation.
